It's the dog days of summer and it's hotter than Hades out there! For Raleigh, the high is supposed to hit 103° again this week! It's stifling, sure, and some of you are enjoying the heat by cooling off with a swim -ah, I miss that old swimming hole in Michigan. Ah, but I digress.
So, for all of you out there on tire swings, splashing around in rivers with dogs, I am going to hold my first giveaway contest: A CalligraphyPets Embroidered Towel.
Great for cats and other creatures too!
Not So Sticky Rules:
- One has to respond to this blog entry to qualify
- I'd like you to be at least 18.
- Contest Ends Tuesday, August 28, 6:00pm (EST)
- Free shipping for US Residents (lower 48)
- Shipping outside US/48 may have to help defray costs
- Andrew and I will toss dice to ID the winner.
- Send your friends!
- You can't be related to me -even thru marriage. Besides, you get all kinds of cool stuff from me anyway, right?
UPDATE: The contest is now closed and I want to thank you all for your participation! Andrew and I realized that we didn't have dice in the house, so we used Random.org's Random Integer Generator to reveal our winner. And the winner is...
#7 - USASweetpea
Sweetpea, you'll want to send us a note to let us know your snail mail address to receive your CalligraphyPets embroidered microfiber towel!
Again, thanks so much! This was so much fun, I think I'll do it again in the near future!!

Wow, we are taking the three kids and our beloved german short hair to the Nooksack river for a play day on Saturday. I love your blog, and will be adding it to my inspirational blog list in the a.m.

Hey, sign me up. I have a friend with a dog who would love the towel. Having seen them in person, I know it would be much appreciated, too.
Please sign me up.
I love your work...
Well my 16 month old Briard recently lost his snoopy doll to an un fortunate death-by-stuffing-leakage situation and he would love the towel.
If it is any consolation it is just as hot here in South Florida AND this heat wave will last until some time in October.
SO I guess JEter could use the towel to 'towel off' (groan).

Love your artwork! We have an elderly gal who'd love the towel. Woof, woof. Did you hear that?

One month ago this coming Tuesday, I had to put my beloved Shih Tzu, Tootsie, to sleep. I was selected to be her Mother years ago. She was what is called a "special needs" dog because she was rescued from a drug house and had a large tumor and nearly died. I miss her so much and am waiting for another "special needs" dog for my own, when the Humane Society gets the one they think will be best suited to me. The towel would be wonderful as a "coming home" gift to my new baby when she arrives!
Sign me up too, please. I love your work. Caleigh
We have a 10-year old Golden Retriever, Joeboo (aptly named after the voodoo doll which brought good luck to the Cleveland Indians in the movie "Major League") who loves to romp in ponds and rivers and then come over and impersonate a "lap dog."
Regarding Lisa's work and website: Love it, Love it, Love it!
